As we began 2006, we were launching GLINT’s 45th year of ministry! How we thank God for His faithfulness. In particular, I am thankful to God for you!
Your prayers, friendship, encouragement, and financial support enable us to continue providing first-rate Christian literature to indigenous publishers to make available for evangelism and discipleship in the "heart languages" of their own people.
So – thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your faithfulness to His cause and to the people around the world that He loves so much.
I wrote you in January telling you that I planned to describe how God had used our efforts together over the past year and tell what our plans were for 2006. I was very excited about describing the way God is moving and working through the indigenous Christian publishers reaching out to so many all across the world.
With all the events happening -- the tsunami and the situation in Iraq -- I felt that it was more important to let you know about those issues and needs.
By way of a brief update, we continue to hear from our publishers in Indonesia and Thailand. God is continuing to use these dear ones to help the people recovering in these difficult and desperate situations. Thanks for your continuing prayers.
We cannot attempt this alone. But with the stewardship of godly supporters who have dedicated themselves to our vision and mission – along with their continual prayers - our effectiveness and progress will be "beyond our expectations".
How do we know this?
Because…
During the past year, as there have been requests for financial and technical assistance, we have been able to respond. Not just once. But often.
I want to say that more important than money or anything that I have mentioned to you recently, is our desperate need for your involvement, your encouragement, and most of all – your prayers in our behalf. There is absolutely NOTHING we need more.
That way, we will TOGETHER be fulfilling His command to go into all the world – now!
I so anticipate hearing from you!
Gratefully,
Georgalyn Wilkinson
